okay im here for another update on this special&v memorable day:D

planned none other than shannon and jolene & yuka and junqi!

today was the first ultimate time i got shocked by my friends, like seriously. O: so this is how the story goes:

one fine day jolene and shannon came to tell me to meet them at amk mrt station at 2pm on 24th jan. which was absolutely weird cos no one ever goes out that late. and subsequently i was surfing through shannon's phone and saw "amanda's mother" in her inbox, which adds to the suspicion. but anyhow, i dont know how they got away with it.

so on 24th i was rather tired and drowsy after a long day on 23rd, but i managd to drag myself outta bed by 10, so that i could have enough time to prepare+travel. had breakfast, then went upstairs to call both of them to ask if dinner was included. jolene didnt answer and shannon said she was eating medicine o.o kinda believed that cos the background was quite quiet.

suddenly at this exact mo my mother came to tell me to get ready for a family outing at some fish pond thing, so i went to get changed and brush teeth blah blah. and she came again to tell me to hurry up, cos my dad wanted to ask me something. i was quite irritated already, and was grumbling grumbling the whole way that she had to drag me and when i was on my journey down the stairs...

i saw very.. familiar but unfamiliar hair.

familiar because i've seen it so many times before at many places, but unfamiliar because i didnt know what it was doing there.

and this sort of revelation really scared me. cos it was SHANNON. and before i even got the catch of everything there was this.. birthday song bursting through the whole house and my mouth literally hanged open:O so mymother LAUGHEDDD(omg she tricked me) and she pulled me down the stairs. i was damn embarassed cos i was wearing ragged clothes and omg they must have heard the rumblings!!!!!! anyway, cut the beautiful heart-shaped cake, which unfortunately i dont have a picture of cos i was too busy trying to find reality. shannon has those though(: and we all feasted on the cake. thanks shannon and jolene, the cake was fabulous:D was quite surprised to see yuka there cos she lives miles away!

hahah then four of them waited a terribly long time for me to get changed + get ready for our movie in orchard. bus trip was interesting cos yuka was trying to teach shannon jap, and we realised jolene has abs for nuts, and junqi was sneaking photos on us. haha.

and sometime later, we reached cineleisure. bought tickets for the wedding game then went down to the food court for lunch. the movie was quite nice; plot's quite common and predictive but the acting and laughy stuff make it all look good. :D

the theatre was quite cold according to my 4 accomplices, but i didnt find it too cold, actually. only there was this point of time when leemingshun was proposing to fannwong then i felt shivers down my spine, haha. half the time i shared jacket with jolene+snuggled close together. she was freezing till her teeth chattered so i gave her my jacket in the end, haha.

after the movie, shannon had to go home): so all of us took the mrt back(: yuka had to go the opp direction,so it was left with us 4. when we reached yishun we walked around north point helping shannon find a skirt, but quite to no avail, haha. (OP's skirts are too short and big at the waist line!!). then sometime later, shannon met her sis and mom. and then junqi went to meet her mom at cold storage so it was left with jolene and me, haha.

so in the end it was left with jolene and me, haha. she brought me on a tour in the new building (what's it called ah!) and then her mom told her to have dinner outside. there wasnt much to eat @ yishun so we went to raffles place, where we walked for a long long time befor we actually settled down at the food court to have dinner (LOL)the othr places cost a bomb.

had B&J's after that:D:D and then went for a short walk to the esplanade.

my dear fellow piggy bestie, haha.

reached home around 9+ and had bbq (again) with family. im gaining weight!!

heh i have no idea why time has to pass so fast when you are having fun, but thats reality. i wish that this day will never end; it feels like im in the hands of my loved ones and they will take care of everything for me hahah.

nevertheless, thank you jolene, shannon, junqi and yuka for such a wonderful day!!!

These past few days were amazing and really, really good. Once again, a big shoutout to those who gave me wonderful presents, wished me, screamed into my ear “happy birthday” (chuanling), gave me very meaningful cards that made me cry, wrote me chunlians, including one that wished me to grow taller (meizhen&dear 304), organized superb surprises for me(Jolene, Shannon&yuka, junqi), those that took so much effort to come to my bbq although you live miles away, those who took time off and sacrificed whatever they have to come to my bbq, etcetc.

It really warms my heart to know how much people care, and i really really appreciate it. Thank you all so much! LOVE!!!<333

Pictures are overwhelming. And unfortunately, on 23rd my hideous cam went out of batt so most of the other photos are in my dad’s old black vintage cam. So probably It wouldn’t be so soon before I can get the complete set of photos, especially when its Chinese new year. Anyhow, I shall update with whatever I have at hand first, in case I get haunted by several people O:

gathered at the usual spot with 2/5ers in the morning, where they sang the first birthday song:D and then went on to chunlian writing, and 304 was really sweet:D like they congregated into a big circle and stared at meizhen writing calligraphy(:

took a long time before we went onstage and sang our hearts out but the audience couldnt hear a thing. anyways, met jerlyn with youming and joyce and we went back to rosyth together. couldnt stand the attitude of the school so we scramed home. jerlyn and joyce came to my house, and then joyce went back to rosyth and the guys came.

subsequently after that more people kept flowing in.

yeujia was being funny about all the maids in my house and the way she described it my house is like a childcare for people and plants. hahaha. sky was being terribly adored by people, and couldnt help smiling when 2/5ers and 3/4ers came:D and of course, not to miss out nychoristers and 601!

bbq was great, many people were eating and eating and i was buzzing around to make sure that everyone was okay, haha. it was quite fun i guess. and i was really glad to hear laughters(: i guess this was an opportunity for people to mix around, cos amazingly, one moment i looked back and saw 601ners talking, and the next i saw meizhen and kahyan talking so i was pretty shocked. haha.

doubts;

hahaha so here i am spending the remaining hours of my fourteenth year before hell comes and force me to grow upD;

suddenly all the excitement vanished today.. or rather sinked right deep into the depths of nowhere. IRONY IRONY IRONY. i dont want to feel old beside classmates/people, especially when i have a special height):):):

and frankly, im worried for tomorrow's bbq. response didnt turn out so well cos everyone lives far off my lounge. but really, thanks to those who are making the effort to come although you live miles away<3

i guess im going to study for bio quiz now.. nothing else to do eh?

start of something new;

today was pretty good(: although the LA essay kinda freaked many of us out, at least we've gotten past it!

lessons turned out pretty interesting today;

bio was a tough mind workout, math was just plain freaky, IH was freakishly hilarious, LA was a mad rush to finish the essay, and CLC lecture was... very insightful.

haha today was the judging day for cny decorations, and everyone in 304 gotcracking during lunch and after school

i would like to thank loyee and leting for spending time and so much effort into this, although school's starting to get busy.(:

really had loadsa fun, the type of feeling you will have on a day out with people you love. the heartwarming feeling:D

met like at 1130 in the morning and watched ponyo(: it didnt turn out to be THAT dumb after all. the story was really good, although quite impossible and unimaginable but it reminds me of love(: during the movie screening Ls presented wenjing and me with really delicious cakes:D love em!

then, we headed to mosburger for a hearty lunch (which only applies to loyee) and started talking like what we always do. went to botanic gardens after that, after detouring alot. had lots of fun in there, playing laoyingzhuoxiaoji and videoing/camwhoring all sorts of lame things.

ben and jerry at dempseys after that. amazing place!!! the totally perfect ambience for such company(: shall bring more people there next time! ate and talked and wenjing had to go home so we all went back to orchard, and loyee leting and i went for dinner at wisma.

reached home around 930. felt really exhausted by the end of the day but yet we still managed to talk a lot, alot of nonsense:D hahaha.

hope you liked the keychain!:D its been awhile (almost 2 years) since i've known you, and we've got closer through these few months. really adore having you as a friend; youre the kind who really perks me up whenever i see you, and thats really good, right?(: having those heartwarming talks with you and sometimes the Ls really brightens my life up, cos at times when im feeling down, i still feel the support you give me. thank you for all that you've done, through your actions, through your words, and through the various times you humoured/laughed with me. i will never ever forget those moments(: laughing with you really hypes me up and gives me energy to move on, like "i'll do it for wenjing!" i'll have that special motivation in me. thank you too for being a great listening ear, whenever we have those small lil talks along the corridor or when we are waiting for some certain thing. its really amazing to have you as a batchmate, and a close friend. and especially for certain issues, i feel that you can really empathize with me, and it makes me feel loads better (: thank you, LR!!!
