BIRTHDAY ON A MONDAY.
first and foremost, i wanna wish JUNQI a very
happy 14th birthday!:D
sorry, didnt have any chance to get your present, so i owe you one! xD
yearh okay so well.
today was rather fine. with that anticipating sweet surprise in the morning(: it brightened up the day, and liftened my spirits(: thankew VIP!<#
LA was a slacky period. mr chow once again ponned our lesson; had to attend some meeting. then it was chinese lesson, and break. math geog and malay followed.
pretty much stagnant, but people's presence made the atmosphere a whole load lighter(:
so for tomorrow..

ONE OR NONE.
this week has been a fairly busy one.
glad that chuanling's surprise was quite successful. :D after many weeks of waiting.
yup, happy belated birthday to CHUANLING, AUDREY, ROSANNE, AND SHANPING.
its really late, i know, but i hope you guys had a memorable 14th birthday(:
there wasnt much that happened this week, except for the giving out of papers (groans), the learning process of chilli con carne, and the slacky friday.
thinking back, tuesday was really productive.
ms lim's sectionals freaked us out, but it really helped us to improve a lot. it isnt easy to find your soft pellet and open your mouth the correct way. i guess the reason why choir's working so hard is because of the upcoming concert and that choir olympics in graz. and there're many people looking forward to these major highlights this year.. and i really hope they'll work out. jiayou nyc!
and yesterday.. was quite hilarious.
during PCCG.. wanglaoshi reallocated some people's places. was fighting really hard for what i want, to the extent that i was already hugging my bag, ready to "set off".. but i guess it wasnt the right time yet.. since wanglaoshi said she'll reconsider about the rest. after that.. it was the discussion for the youth day funfair. many good suggestions were made. funny thing was, there was this funny imaginary bubble floating out of my head when someone said seaweed chicken. immediately, i had this thought of a chicken WING wrapped around in seaweed. and goodness me, i was thinking how in the world of chickens is a person going to consume that. and right after i said what i thought, it aroused much laughter, and then did i realise, i said something wrong. omg, i cant believe my interpretation is THAT bad. and another thing i said wrongly.. was the popcorn chicken. according to jolene.. i said "you know a chicken right, then you cut it into pieces, and it's like popcorn, put in a red thing.." LOL. you cut it into pieces. does that sound THAT wrong?! so i became a huge laughing stock during PCCG. end of story? and anyway, thank goodness that discussion was quite productive.. one of the most productive ones this whole year. thanks people for cooperating(:
then it was music. the thing i remember very distinctly is saiying falling to the floor. or rather, saiying "FAINTING". judo works wonders. i thought she fainted because she landed on the floor in a standing position! not that im making sense, but its really unbelievable. that baffled us,totally. haha.
home econs.. i feel quite guilty for not paying attention most of the time when those two crazy netballers were playing with their FEET. happy feet, eh..? and i realised SOME PEOPLE are failures at cutting apples. ours were quite screwed, if you compare us with the rest of the groups. haha, many people somehow came to view us, as if we were some display at some art museum.
last period was drama. it was somehow or rather the most meaningful and special lesson ever. if im not wrong.. it was to test the trust we had in our class. first activity was walking around in the dark, with the closing of eyes of course. felt a little scared, but let go naturally. walking in the dark was not easy feat.. but the feeling and security that people around me gave overcame that feeling of walking alone. the second activity was to find a partner, get separated and get back together again. partnered jolene, and memorized her hand. haha. it felt quite.. weird and embarrassing, since SOMEONE wasnt willing to close her eyes. hmph. the journey of finding her was quite.. easy, in a way. cos i knew that she was on my left, and i headed left. i think i pushed away rosanne, cos i was like, "aiyoh, not you la. go away" HAHA. then i finally reached jolene. and i didnt know jolene was jolene at first. till i asked her "are you jolene?" 3 times did i manage to believe i found my partner in the dark. it was freaking, cool.(:
after that rushed down for ushering duties. i never once knew that being an usher would be that tiring. firstly stood at the walkway between the canteen and the gate for 1 1/2 hours with samantha, my main source of entertainment. shes really amusing. second source of entertainment was FOOD. am such a pig, if you dont know. ate that yoghurt icecream, drank one full bottle of apple juice, that koped 3 apple crumbles from samantha(: oh and ate that curry puff from ms sabrina, and another plate of beehoon for dinner. so by the time i finished eating, i was bloated. HAHA okay getting off point. so, went to the audi at 5 and made a few rounds of ushering parents from one place to another. the real ushering started at 6, when we had to usher them into the audi. back was already aching from those countless bows and "good evenings". hahaha. but it was quite fun. then we had this BOM bonding session. congratulations, there're 3 amandas, amanda chia, amanda he, and amanda tan. sec 3 & 3 & 2. how amusing! i think i know up to about 10 amandas already. not including myself, of course. got to know quite a number of people. joy & joy, glenda, xiao han and some others.
joy was really cute. joy from er, 202 i think. yes. before the BOM's quick snapshot, she suddenly said, "eh, i do something to your head ah?" i really didnt know she was talking to me, so my first reaction was, " huh, me ah? um? okay." and turned out that, that THING on my head was a BUNNY EAR =.=" hahah and it was really hilarious, because for some reason she opened her legs really wide, so much that from far it seemed that she didnt have any legs, and there was this air below her skirt. and looking at the picture closely, she looked as if she was doing a ma3 bu4. so she wasnt the only one who wasnt contented with the picture. HAHAHA.
headed home at around 8+ with xiaohan. had a great chat with her on 171. then reached my mom's office and nao-ed in there for a while. with my unreasonable laughters on the phone. :D had a great chat though.
yeah well i guess that sums up the whole week.
looking forward to next week, because of the surprise, and i guess just because going to school is equivalent to having reunions with very important people(:

thanks leting for being such a super duper nice darling. looking back, it hasnt even been a year since we first talked to each other. i guess its fate/destiny that brought us together, to crack all kinds of silly jokes and just to lame around.
being around you, is simply indescribable. dont know why, but we have the same thoughts, and we can sense each other's feelings. youre really one of a kind; you're able to make people feel as if the world's perfect, as if anything could work out.
im really thankful to have such a darling like you; simply because:

1)are a person i can definitely rely on
2)are a person whom i can pour all my troubles to without any hesitations
3)are a person whom i can joke around with both consciously and unconsciously

yet another fond memory;
YET ANOTHER FOND MEMORY.
yesterday was too exhausted to even type a single word on blogger, so decided to post about today and yesterday together, in a combined post:D
yesterday
okay, so in chronogical order, leting's and yvonne's birthday surprise comes first(:
so, amandaL loyee and i were almost hyperventilating about the tight schedule we had before the whole surprise.
met amandaL at bugis mrt at 11, where we rushed off to the departmental store to get leting's berry(?) perfume! then, met loyee and got the cake. and both of them were ranting on and on about how tempting the food-on-display were. hahaha, and they kinda freaked out when i didnt give a two hoot about those things. HAHA.
okay, so then we got the movie tickets, where my marvellous calculations got screwed up. i thought sitting by my table, diligently fighting those math monsters away the night before would help, but it wasnt really effective. im so amused with myself. hahaha!
after that, we rushed to raffles place. all 3 of us. met youming, then baoxian tzehui and yvonne reached. and i was desperately trying to find that horrible raffles city, when tzehui made me realise, IT WAS AT CITY HALL. and poor amanda and loyee, misled by this poor organiser here, they were frantically looking for raffles city at raffles mrt too. so we got into the mrt, and by that time, leting already reached raffles city. i was hyperventilating alot, it made me laugh at myself (haha, natural sight?!)
finally reached city hall, where we spotted wenjing amidst that sea of people, and i walked super duper fast. but sadly, into citylink, NOT raffles city. lol so we made this detour and practically ran into raffles city. told wenjing to bring the rest of them down to B&J, where they would meet loyee and amanda, and then i would lure this totally CLUELESS darling leting away, till the surprise was ready. but loyee and amanda got to tanjong pagar instead, so this whole time of luring leting away thing got extended.
i think i did a horrible job. cos i was going to burst out of nervousness plus laughter. but this insensitive little birthday girl noticed no oddity in me, so i guess it turned out FINE. hahaha. it was really hilarious okay. went into loadsa shops, where we window-shopped.
yay, and when they were ready, i slowly took leting down, and told her i suddenly craved for B&J. i only did that cos i knew that i was totally lost in that big basement 1, and i NEEDED directions, hahah. so when B&J were somewhere within our sight, i practically smashed leting's eyes. *laughs menacingly* okay sorry, not smashed, but roughly covered. and i walked her all the way to B&J, where the other choristers were waiting. and this loud "happy birthday" greeted leting's senses, when she regained her sight.
and i hope yvonne got the surprise too? cos actually yvonne not knowing we're celebrating for her also, was supposed to get this whole birthday thing as a surprise. okay im making sense, right? haha, but i guess everything turned out fine. surprised leting even more with that perfume. i can still remember her bewildered expression, haha. devoured that little choc+strawberry cake plus some ice cream, before we set our foothold in kfc, where we had our PROPER lunch.
kind leting offered to er, treat me since she thinks she owes me too much for this whole thing(which isnt true, definitely). so got free onion rings and coke:D talked for a little while then proceeded to bugis.
we totally ruled at the arcade okay. first stop was the car racing thingo, where we totally made a fool of ourselves. next was the hoops, and then the drums plus gun games. really, i can live in that arcade. brings back many fond memories, and i will never get tired playing that house of the dead VI and the hoops!:D had a whale of a time there. :D
then rushed up for stepup2, which totally rocked. the seating sequence was like this, baoxian, tzehui, me, loyee, wenjing, leting, youming. (yvonne and amandaL left before that) partially it was cos tzehui baoxian loyee and i were sharing the popcorn and coke. yep. the movie rocked totally. the dance moves were.. totally fantastic. indescribable, amazing, extraodinary. totally wowed me. and of course, the whole movie thing was better, with loyee's company(: gosh, dont miss out on stepup2!
next, went to the neoprint shop, where all of us screamed our heads off. tzehui and baoxian left, then, back to the arcade to finish up the tokens, and i played the drum game with leting. LOL. short and sweet! after that, youming left, and leting, loyee, wenjing and i stayed to have dinner at yoshinoya together. talked and laughed alot. and we parted in the mrt station. wenjing taking the green line, and loyee leting and i taking the red line. talked some more with leting and loyee. i realise having those talks with them, really made me trouble-free. it feels really carefree.. and satisfying. not to forget, heartwarming!:D
reached home at 9, when i was so fortunate i didnt get slaughtered for.
haha, hope that leting and yvonne had a great day that day. was so thankful the whole surprise thing wasnt screwed up. and last but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! early birthday, to be exact. hahaha.

today
went for piano lesson first thing in the morning. and the highly anticipated gettogether was killing my insides, so i rushed off to amk hub. from off yio chu kang road to amk hub's macs, in about 12 minutes? LOL.
circled around macs, then finally met jolene and junqi, who were CLEVERLY hiding behind that pillar. so mean, right? and lol, the first funny thing of the day was that, jolene craved for that macs balloon, which she didnt get in the end cos of the time. then went into amk hub and met jianing. bought shan's present and got the mr bean cd, after spending like almost half an hour in the cd shop. grabbed snacks in the supermarket after that, where we bought RED BULL:D all of us were already bull when we saw the red bull can, so i didnt see any point in buying it, but we bought it anyway. and i was really excited to drink it:D
so got home in like half an hour later, then watched about 15 minutes of just follow law and had lunch.
as usual, there was this crazy talk at the dining table, where topics led to SICK stuff due to our professional digressionXD
jolene described this crazy encounter in the aeroplane, when this guy(must be totally an ignorant one) pressed the EMERGENCY button accidentally before he got out of the aeroplane toilet, and poor jolene went in. she didnt sense anything.. unusual except for that blinking button, which was so predictably forgone by her, right? haha. no sooner the air stewardness BANGED on the door, "eh, you okay anot???" half-dressed jolene got a HUGE shock, but she managed out that little "OKAYYY!" hahaha. freaking hilarious, the way she described it.
then... we went back into that room and continued with that movie, accompanied by our snacks. moved on to mr bean, but got tired of it after the first half, so we got high with some music after that. wasnt exactly what high is defined as, but yeah, i guess it was still acceptable(:
had truckloads of fun with jianing, junqi and jolene today, although it wasnt really that high.. but, yeah really enjoyed you guys' presence.(: a whole lot!
thanks for all the laughter, SECURITY!:D and.. basically just for being here.
the outing with the choristers and today's gathering were simply.. indescribable.
hope that we'll get more of these.. soon. like really soon(:
i figured everyday wouldnt have been the same without you, and everyday wouldnt pass without me being thankful towards you. even a million thank yous wouldnt be enough; but im just really glad that youre here, though not always face to face, just with your everlasting support i guess. just talking to you will cheer me up and make me trouble-free, and help me realise how lucky i am indeed to have found such a great friend/confidante.

and i hope yvonne got the surprise too? cos actually yvonne not knowing we're celebrating for her also, was supposed to get this whole birthday thing as a surprise. okay im making sense, right? haha, but i guess everything turned out fine. surprised leting even more with that perfume. i can still remember her bewildered expression, haha. devoured that little choc+strawberry cake plus some ice cream, before we set our foothold in kfc, where we had our PROPER lunch.
kind leting offered to er, treat me since she thinks she owes me too much for this whole thing(which isnt true, definitely). so got free onion rings and coke:D talked for a little while then proceeded to bugis.
we totally ruled at the arcade okay. first stop was the car racing thingo, where we totally made a fool of ourselves. next was the hoops, and then the drums plus gun games. really, i can live in that arcade. brings back many fond memories, and i will never get tired playing that house of the dead VI and the hoops!:D had a whale of a time there. :D
then rushed up for stepup2, which totally rocked. the seating sequence was like this, baoxian, tzehui, me, loyee, wenjing, leting, youming. (yvonne and amandaL left before that) partially it was cos tzehui baoxian loyee and i were sharing the popcorn and coke. yep. the movie rocked totally. the dance moves were.. totally fantastic. indescribable, amazing, extraodinary. totally wowed me. and of course, the whole movie thing was better, with loyee's company(: gosh, dont miss out on stepup2!
next, went to the neoprint shop, where all of us screamed our heads off. tzehui and baoxian left, then, back to the arcade to finish up the tokens, and i played the drum game with leting. LOL. short and sweet! after that, youming left, and leting, loyee, wenjing and i stayed to have dinner at yoshinoya together. talked and laughed alot. and we parted in the mrt station. wenjing taking the green line, and loyee leting and i taking the red line. talked some more with leting and loyee. i realise having those talks with them, really made me trouble-free. it feels really carefree.. and satisfying. not to forget, heartwarming!:D
reached home at 9, when i was so fortunate i didnt get slaughtered for.
haha, hope that leting and yvonne had a great day that day. was so thankful the whole surprise thing wasnt screwed up. and last but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! early birthday, to be exact. hahaha.

today
went for piano lesson first thing in the morning. and the highly anticipated gettogether was killing my insides, so i rushed off to amk hub. from off yio chu kang road to amk hub's macs, in about 12 minutes? LOL.
circled around macs, then finally met jolene and junqi, who were CLEVERLY hiding behind that pillar. so mean, right? and lol, the first funny thing of the day was that, jolene craved for that macs balloon, which she didnt get in the end cos of the time. then went into amk hub and met jianing. bought shan's present and got the mr bean cd, after spending like almost half an hour in the cd shop. grabbed snacks in the supermarket after that, where we bought RED BULL:D all of us were already bull when we saw the red bull can, so i didnt see any point in buying it, but we bought it anyway. and i was really excited to drink it:D
so got home in like half an hour later, then watched about 15 minutes of just follow law and had lunch.
as usual, there was this crazy talk at the dining table, where topics led to SICK stuff due to our professional digressionXD
jolene described this crazy encounter in the aeroplane, when this guy(must be totally an ignorant one) pressed the EMERGENCY button accidentally before he got out of the aeroplane toilet, and poor jolene went in. she didnt sense anything.. unusual except for that blinking button, which was so predictably forgone by her, right? haha. no sooner the air stewardness BANGED on the door, "eh, you okay anot???" half-dressed jolene got a HUGE shock, but she managed out that little "OKAYYY!" hahaha. freaking hilarious, the way she described it.
then... we went back into that room and continued with that movie, accompanied by our snacks. moved on to mr bean, but got tired of it after the first half, so we got high with some music after that. wasnt exactly what high is defined as, but yeah, i guess it was still acceptable(:
had truckloads of fun with jianing, junqi and jolene today, although it wasnt really that high.. but, yeah really enjoyed you guys' presence.(: a whole lot!
thanks for all the laughter, SECURITY!:D and.. basically just for being here.
the outing with the choristers and today's gathering were simply.. indescribable.
hope that we'll get more of these.. soon. like really soon(:
i figured everyday wouldnt have been the same without you, and everyday wouldnt pass without me being thankful towards you. even a million thank yous wouldnt be enough; but im just really glad that youre here, though not always face to face, just with your everlasting support i guess. just talking to you will cheer me up and make me trouble-free, and help me realise how lucky i am indeed to have found such a great friend/confidante.

FOR A VERY SPECIAL SOMEONE.
specially for you; although i know it may not help, but its the least i can do.
dont feel defeated, just because of yet another unhappy setback. treat it like the stairs; one incident equivalent to one step, and it takes many steps to reach your destination. through the tedious journey you may fall through the hole, but its your courage and faith that keeps you going strong, that gives you the ability and strength to go again, to get back on track and continue on this journey.
think that although others may fall through the holes for one reason or another, you'll be there to get them back on track. you'll be there to influence them to get back on the right track, and continue moving towards your destination, which is in this case, your goal of being in unity.
and being in unity.. it takes much strength and power for a team to achieve. since they are destined to be your teammates, know that you guys will attain that special bond someday and somehow, when everyone realises how much and what they have done for the team.
i probably wont exactly know how to put myself in your shoes, but stay strong okay? because everything will turn out fine in the end. you know it!(:

BLOCKS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER.
its really hard to believe... that they are over.
after all the burying of heads into books even after midnight.. it all just ended like this. not that it JUST ended like this, but somehow it doesnt feel that exams are over. theres still this mentality that theres a need to mug and mug and mug over and over and over again, even now.
okay so the process was long but short. long in a way that it seems forever before the blocks were over, and short because it actually is short (SIX papers in TWO days!)! okay i dont think i make much sense. but undoubtedly, its a load off my chest. it feels like one paper is equivalent to one stone, so right now six stones have vanished, and my heart feels lighter and i feel rejuvenated. hahaha, my brain's getting very haywired after the major information overload.
conclusion:
blocks are over. rejoice!
and jiayou to seniors! you guys will definitely pull through this huge torrent of stress!(:

as for tuesday.. shannon and i were discussing about some science isotopes stuff, and loyee somehow APPEARED beside me. and im so surprised, didnt know i was that insensitive>< okay only for this time right? XD anyway, yes, she totally gave me a shock. i was explaining to shannon, and audrey started giggling at something beside me. and i thought loyee was another person. so i got such a shock i threw evie's science file. LOL. this isnt the first time; there are many other times when loyee just APPEAR. freaky, but cool. hahaha.
wednesday and thursday were basically the "highlights" of the week. negative highlights. blocks seem like EOYs. a big contrast to last year's common tests.

till its alright again.
TILL ITS ALRIGHT AGAIN.
quite hyped up after all the fun created today.(:
woke up with a start today - highly anticipated rosyth choir's revisit, and group meeting at my house(:
met jerlyn and erina first thing in the morning outside rosyth, and it wasnt much of a difficulty getting into rosyth, even without any verification of identity and stuff. not as hard as how we thought it would be. cos we practically just walked in FREELY. yeah, so we met mdm yeong in the same ol' LT. and the whole choir practically changed, partly cos of its members. and the most surprising thing is, ROSYTH CHOIR HAS A CAPTAIN. captain = yan rong.
it was quite shocking to feel like a senior in that LT. and the good memories of us - our batch singing when we were p6.. indescribable. it feels like decades ago when all the current sec2s sang in 2006, clinching that not excellent but quite satisfying gold. amazing how the clock works! but i can never ever forget the immense joy rosyth choir brought into me, the voices and harmony that ignite my passion for singing.. jerlyn, cassandra, erina, tessa... you guys rock, totally.(:
left rosyth in a rush, when i heard that the three musketeers were already somewhere within the borders of yiochukang. i think that 7 minutes was my record.. from chionging to the busstop of rosyth, to the chionging of my destinated busstop to SEVENELEVEN, where i saw three of them after xxx mamachickendonkey years.
heart leaped a bit to see them, really excited and just.. happy(: then we got home, and i felt really uneasy and perhaps, SHY to host for that short period of time.. i dont know why. but it got better after lunch, i guess. that was when we really started cracking. printing out the enlarged alphabets for the poster, while sharing our life-long experiences. that was really cool, i guess. although it isnt as high, but yeah, nothing beats having a heart-to-heart talk!
we got the home econs thing done, then we proceeded to half-playing, half-revising. basically just hanged around to laugh about nothing, and took sneak peeks at notes. shannon was glued to archie comics, and her piano stuff. yeah, and the funniest part was the karoake part. where we mimicked some song. hope that those crazy little funny actions brightened up the atmosphere or something.. at least i hope it doesnt make it seem so bad, when the morale is so low cos of those block tests right? so basically my aim of today was to actually have a get together, to bond, lighten up and to do the project, of course(:

INDESCRIBABLE.
today - long but short day.
i obviously dont make sense with that nonsensical statement above. i shall not elaborate on my insanity after 12(:
hmm, had a very very special guest this afternoon. and shes none other than loyee.
for once, i appreciate my house after her WOW-ings. haha, but it really isnt that great at all. i still prefer to live in a condominium or apartment anytime(:
so, firstly we had this really weird house marathon. in the very loyee-ish way. she HAD TO take photos of my whole house okay. and i mean it literally, the whole house. (and some other foreign westernized house?! haha. crazy obsession with houses >< ) yup, then we karoake-ed:D we went really out of control with FIR songs. like zomg, REALLY high. to the extent that loyee pretended that the fish pillow was a guitar. and we started doing those funny actions and ARMWAVES:D yeah. wait, did i mention that loyee shakes like a weirdo? okay im serious. i would have thought she had a master degree in body shaking! aha, so fir songs really make people GET HIGH.
after that, we had a conference with leting. no leting, you didnt spoil our mood or anything, definitely didnt. just dont get too stressed up over work okay? fine,dont get too relaxed either but at least, pace yourself. make time for relaxation and do something you enjoy! it will really help, and most importantly youve got to ENJOY studying. not that i know how the hell you can achieve that interest in mugging, but at least think of mugging in a better way okay? (: get mentally well soon, dont worry! and if you ever need a listening ear, you know who's here!
next, the mugging session commenced. good for the first group study i have, i guess. managed to read through 2 pages of the chem textbook? and loyee introduced her crazy study planner to me. involving xxxG and whatsoever. thats really amusing. typical loyee, i guess:D
and then we had DINNER. dinner was quite yellow, for some reason. it appeared to be mostly yellowish. its so weird, i always have this colour theme in my house. haha. had a great chat over dinner in that small and cosy room.
and even after she went, i still couldnt believe that she came to my house. how weird is that? it wasnt long, but really, i had heaps of fun. indescribable but satisfying joy.

raining with love;
RAINING WITH LOVE.
so today was yet another splendid day.
highlights were -
1. the rainbow song - childlike innocence, revives the sweet old memories i had in rosyth(:
2. exciting and truly amazing running ups and downs, and various smses to meet pervo jolene ong - freaking hilarious, yet barney hug was amazingly memorable<3
experienced one of the most thrilling anticipation, for some reason. and this involved a huge amount of smuggling of my handphone underneath that rainbow score and sneak peeks of the window. haha! but only managed out a big grin and an enthusiastic "hi!" when pervo jo appeared. and somehow the parting of ways was quite saddening, most probably cos of my mentality of seperating with this really really important person and REALLY important person in my life. so at least that chionging down the stairs and randomly screaming of your name didnt go down the drain, cos i managed to still gave you that big bear hug in the end right? (despite your sweaty hesitations, haha!) yay, thank you!<3
( just dont sacrifice your knee well-being next time(: )
3. rush to and from KAP - bonding with batchmates, especially with leting, youming, amandaL, sheryin and wenjing. <3><
4. the RAIN. - screaming competitions with youming and darling leting! haha. it was really hilarious okay, there was this "pathway" to get out of that KAP territory and we screamed a dang lot just to get down that drain. haha. 5. the mini outing and bonding session with leting, loyee and wenjing at island creamery - just gotta say about this. screamed the whole way to serene center, initially some unknown place to me. yeah, and we were literally DRIPPING wet from the rain. so we dried ourselves up using many many ways, then went to devour delicious MUDCAKES(: (happy family, lets go next time.) and talked loads. about anything at all; choir, our classes, our bad points, and etcetc. the chill in the entire cafe didnt realy help, but the warmth they spread to me covered the cold up(: thanks so much to you guys, for everything. not only for today, but well ever since NYC became an important element in my life. both inside and outside of choir, i feel like we are people who have known each other for most of their lives, but in fact we have only known each other for plainly four months. which is quite incredulous, amazing... huh? (: yay, love you guys loads.
and like YOU say, here comes my signature phrase.

theres nothing much to post about, but well just wanted to say that i had a great day today spazzing with jianing and shanping. although we didnt really get anything done. haha, but at least i kind of feel motivated to mug now i guess. perhaps after those mindless screamings and spasm? (:
and thank you, jolene! although the reason of me thanking you is quite vague here. still, thanks a lot for everything, for making me so secured and so appreciated. talking to you, and well clearing things up felt like a really big accomplishment in some way or another, although the matters we talked about were really minor and stuff, haha. that phone call was quite, okay VERY meaningful and memorable. i guess it just means a lot to me! (haha, just dont think wrong all the time:D) theres a long way ahead, but with you by my side, everything's going to be fine. <3
this post's quite meaningless in a way, but its the holidays! shant let the workoholic and revision atmosphere dampen my spirits.

theres nothing much to post about, but well just wanted to say that i had a great day today spazzing with jianing and shanping. although we didnt really get anything done. haha, but at least i kind of feel motivated to mug now i guess. perhaps after those mindless screamings and spasm? (:
and thank you, jolene! although the reason of me thanking you is quite vague here. still, thanks a lot for everything, for making me so secured and so appreciated. talking to you, and well clearing things up felt like a really big accomplishment in some way or another, although the matters we talked about were really minor and stuff, haha. that phone call was quite, okay VERY meaningful and memorable. i guess it just means a lot to me! (haha, just dont think wrong all the time:D) theres a long way ahead, but with you by my side, everything's going to be fine. <3
this post's quite meaningless in a way, but its the holidays! shant let the workoholic and revision atmosphere dampen my spirits.

okay, so i just spent like a huge amount of time waiting for all these photos to finish uploading.
that was random.
ANYWAY.
all sec 2s probably have mixed feelings about the recent LSC. wasnt as fun as last year's, but i cant say its not fun either. basically, its cos the inexperienced us organised this whole camp, and there were only two routes for all organised activites - success or screwed.
but i guess for amateurs like us, it turned out pretty fine(: leadership games was.. messy, but a huge blast. let me explain in details later; here's 2/3 of 100 over photos i took.

so the LOW began. looks exactly like a battlefield, isnt it? except that on battlefields the soldiers dont wear such colourful clothes. whats more, clothes with NUMBERS. hoho.

okay for the detailed LSC going-ons!
first day:
didnt accomplish much. just felt that excitement wearing off due to fatigue. firstly we gave out the class tees, and apparently we got short of one. so evie's mum came and we gave a big excuse to go to the toilet when we went to collect the shirt, and pretended to come out of the toilet.. haha.
so first stop was labrador park for the amazing race. it was quite a blast, although most of the time i wasnt quite aware of what was going on, and we ran a lot. a pity we missed the last game called queen bee i think.
went back to school for lunch, then for drama prep and showering time.
dinner was fine, except that we were starving many people got annoyed with the dinner cheering session, haha. then it was the viewing of the movie drumline! the drummer was really really good he amazed everyone of us. and evie was already WOW-ing til her eyeballs almost pop out (literally!) so imagine how good this movie is. go catch it! (oh and by the way, two siao ppl took me for a pillow and SOMEONE actually slept for half an hour okay. hmph! HAHA.)
the first night was one of the highlights of the whole camp. had BONDING SESSION with jolene and shannon and evie! but sadly evie drifted off to sleep quite fast, after FEASTING on chocolates with van and esther. so, heard jolene sing for the first time. was quite hilarious, come to think of it. its like, her voice was REALLY quavering, but it was and IS nice. :D so spent most of the night singing. till like 1am. oh and i seriously think holding jolene's hand gives me security in a way. just dont think sick! but very unfortunately, the holding of hands only lasted for half an hour):
second day:
had telematch and the biggest worry of all = the leadership games. so there were quite a number of rushings. telematch hyped up everyone, i hope. cos theres this one game when we had to sing our lungs out, scream more likely.
after lunch, it was 205's and 210's time!
for the first session of games, we were running quite late, but everything went on quite smoothly after that. especially the lord of wars. in the process yuka and i were running around the stations, ensuring that everything was fine. the team marshalls and game masters did a very great job, so amanda claps and cheers for you guys(:
the second session was better, naturally. didnt receive as many phone calls. it was QUITE on time, and the lord of wars ended with a standing ovation! felt quite, actually VERY accomplished. its so, unbelievable, from when xiaowen jiayun yuka and i first planned out the groupings and then going on to this stage when whatever we planned would be carried out and acted upon. its just really cool. like the sun rising, giving heat to a cold and barren place, with flowers start blooming? yeah, it felt like that. (:
so after the whole thing, we wanted our special turn. we didnt exactly play the lord of wars, but we played with water. haha, i managed to pour a WHOLE BUCKET of water on xiaowen and jiayun(: they were previously screaming like chicks. haha! and that jolene, she poured water on me when i was pouring on both of them. oh and there was this other time when shannon and jolene played catching with ME. in the end i got like half of my body wet. pfft! but i wasnt that easily defeated, cos i tricked jolene many times. like pouring water over her when she was squishing water out of the plastic bags, and she was sooo unaware of the surroundings. another time was when shannon poured water into 2 pails and jolene held one of them. i offered to help and in the end i splashed the water into jolene's face. yeah, after many years of experience with playing water, i've become a pro at doing stuff like this. haha. splashed many others too, like wanglaoshi and chuan. really really funny, the way wanglaoshi screamed but barked at the same time. she went to the extent of stepping on the tap to prevent us from doing any more evil. :D but clever shannon collected water from the other tap. haha, so she got really drenched. oh and evie was really dry, so we (as in shannon jolene and me!) ganged up on her and she ended up like a plant after its watering(:
it was REALLY really fun. hope that 205 has a gathering in future, and then we can play LORD OF WARS! yes, thanks to lihan's julie's xingying's sara's sumei's tricia's big brains(: you guys rock!
practically the whole level was deadbeat, most likely because of LOW, haha. so the initally low-spirited people came back to life during the nighttrail. something got really screwed up in the middle with my class, when we were supposed to go espirit de corps and we went to the spider web one instead. but on the overall, it was quite okay. i think evie and i have great teamwork and teamspirit, although we're only a pair(: i collected more than 10 icecream sticks i think. with evie's great guidance and giving of directions, and my good sensing ROFL. oh and leting screamed some really horrible thing into my ear. sounded like
'momo, momo, MOMO!!!"

so after that we went to the quadrangle to sleep. had another round of bonding session. i wonder how much three of us could talk, cos we went from LSC all the way to parents upbringing of us and to condoms. like omg, ANYTHING can happen when s&j're here. thats quite cool, isnt it? :D and the amazing thing is, the bonding session ended with that sick topic. it suddenly went all quiet and all of us went to sleep. pretty weird.
third day:
didnt want to get up from the quadrangle because i knew if i got up, i had to pack up, which sent loads of sad reminders that that day was the last day of LSC. :( no more bonding sessions, holding of hands and sleeping on each other's butts, stomachs and legs.
had drama on that day. everybody.. was quite. unenthu isnt the word, but they werent what 105 used to be. probably cos of the overwhelming fatigue and hunger and information overload plus nervousness. but im proud to say, 205's one class which can successfully carry out a plan even if the process got seriously screwed up.
all of us were really really scared when we were backstage. there were loads of last minute rehearsals and hushed whispers, mainly "how ah!" "im so scared!"
yeah, typical 205(:
the soldiers part was quite cool. but chuanling had a force like a muscular and experienced boxer's that she REALLY almost made me fly off by her unintentional flying punch. i cant imagine me fighting there at that time. was it really that hilarious, to whoever who reads this? haha, so well like i said, everything turned out pretty fine. and it was prize giving. frankly speaking, i got really upset over 205 not winning any prize. be it for leadership games, drama and other stuff. it doesnt seem that we are bonded and united, but deep down i know we really are. its just other circumstances that make the whole class seem so... seperated. but that isnt the case, and i'll prove it! i believe in 205, and that faith will never die(: so yes, jiayou 205!<3
okay back to topic.
the whole survey thing made it worse. felt like there was a stone tugging onto my heart when we did the survey. with those complaints and the ticking of seconds. yuka and i felt really helpless there, trying so hard to satisfy the teacher and the rest. but really, it doesnt feel good at all to hold the whole class back. i have no idea why the survey was conducted at that time.. the whole thing made the class spirit downgrade even more. really sad. and the hunger pangs didnt help, so at least lunch at KAP with shanping audrey and yuka helped lighten the atmosphere up a little.
so i guess that marks an end to LSC.
not all good, but not all that bad either.
anyhow, i wanna express my gratitude to those who made this LSC a very memorable one for me(:

how i felt so accomplished when leadership games finally came to an end
how i felt so wet and wild during the water game after LOW;
how i felt so cared for by chuanling and wanglaoshi;
how i felt so helpless during the survey thing;
how i felt so upset in the auditorium;

the list definitely goes on.
but LSC doesnt end just like that, the smallest and littlest things on earth that happened meant a lot. through this camp, im happy to say i took a step further in understanding people, like jolene, shannon, evie, chuanling, wanglaoshi, yuka, chenxi, yunge, van, sumei, sara, xingying, julie, tania, jieying, and so many more. and even leting, although we only stopped for a talk for like 3 minutes outside 205's territory, and that one big bear hug.
thank you for making LSC an unforgettable event in my sec 2 life.
even though it isnt perfect, it feels very perfect with you guys around. especially with the crazy talks with you know who(:
and after all, like they say, its all imperfections that make everything seem so perfect.
