teacher's day celebration!

i was looking forward to the teacher's day celebration the most for the whole entire week! since chuan told us to bring food only the day before, i could only ask my maid to whip up some spaghetti(lol, i didnt know it was that nice like everyone told me, but anw thanks!(:) yeah. so. actually frankly the party didnt turn out the way i expected it to. i actually brought the wrong hsm 2 cd! and so the whole party actually went off with playing comp games and everyone staring at the screen, and ended too with the same scenario. everyone started leaving at 845 even though we were only required to leave at 9.15. chuan's right. this is the most kiasu class ever!

ohoh! how can i forgett. mrs lee is leaving us. so sad! she didnt mention this to us until thursday, during her last lesson with us. just heard it during assembly on thursday morning from audrey i think. she didnt tell the choir too! we'll miss her... after all... she's the first LA teacher we had in sec sch! and so. we took a class photo with mrs lee. that is, before all of them went to the hall.

although mrs lee has left us, all the bombastic vocabulary that she taught us... will never be forgotten! shes still the first teacher i've ever seen wearing all blue. LOL!

oh, and the garbage in the front is really extra

anyway. after we finished cleaning up the classroom, i went to the hall where evie audrey and jianing saved a seat for me...:) we camwhored a lot. let the pictures do the talking then.

oh and gosh. the teacher's day celebration ROCKS.

everyone thought it was going to be the same old-fashioned, sleepy atmosphere kinda thing.. how wrong we were! the students' performances rocked. theres this pck one and girls wearing hci suits posing around on stage. man, nanyang was like a zoo. we were screaming and laughing like hedgehogs, that is, if they could scream. even the councillor seating nearby lost control. she looked like she could flicker the fire of a lighter anytime. it was the time of nanyang girls' lives man. ohoh, and the teachers' celebration didnt let us down too. ms sabrina can REALLY shake. and if ms chen lili lao shi wasnt our chinese dance instructor, i would have thought she took a time machine to this era. LOL. and the funniest was mr tiong, who was not even recognisable. he was wearing some bowtie hat and carrying an axe. i didnt know it was him until dear EVIE starting screaming so loud she almost blasted my eardrums through my nostrils. andand! ms goh. i think shes been caught up with work; she didnt seem to remember her dance steps. but all the same. YOU ROCK MAN TEACHERS!

and theres this totally unexpected part! there was the psg dancing, i thought it would be taiji or something. but according to julie, they looked like bartop dancers! and there was this lady who could do the split. and everyone was like, 'OH MY GOSH........" goodness. she didnt look any younger than 40! no offence, but i think a normal auntie her age would have broken her back if she had done that incredulous SPLIT. some LONG-LASTING gymnast she is. after that there was this slideshow displaying all the teachers' photos... so cute! everyone was 不由自主di scream and scream and scream. that was a weird combination. NVM! yeah. this whole thing really rocked, even though i had been actively participating in it but pasting my butt onto the floor(: gosh, i love ny!
